  • Mercy Health is seeking expression of interests from passionate clinical leaders for the Clinical Care Manager role at Villa Maria Hostel, our 33 bed Residential Aged Care Home in Lesmurdie, WA. The home, situated in Perth hills, between the natural beauty of the Darling Scarp and the serene suburb of Lesmurdie, has a warm ambience, fostering independence and companionship. The Clinical Manager, in consultation with the Service Manager and clinical team, provides clinical leadership in all aspects of the operations of the facility. They work collaboratively with clinicians, carers, residents, families, support staff and relevant community agencies to facilitate an effective resident focused service. The CM will assume responsibility for the overall management of the site in the absence of the Service Manager.

  • Permanent fixed time position for 6 months with a possibility of converting to a perm ongoing contract
  • Provide quality resident-focused and clinical care utilising a person-centred approach.
  • Reporting to the Service Manager, you will effectively manage and lead a team of carers and nurses by demonstrating our core values.
  • Take an active role in getting to know and communicating with our residents and their families.
  • Manage residents' assessments, treatment, care plans and other documentation to the highest standard.
  • ABOUT YOU:

  • Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
  • Previous Clinical Management experience in an Aged Care environment and knowledge of relevant legislation ( AN-ACC)
  • Experience in managing and leading people by building a positive team culture
  • High level of interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Demonstrated understanding of person-centred care and ability to work well in a team environment
