    An exciting new opportunity exists for an experienced Project Analyst to support our Facilities and Projects division, which will be based on the sunny Gold Coast

    Reporting directly to our Head of Procurement, Premises and Projects, and dotted line to our CFO, this role will play an instrumental part of our Project Management Office (PMO) team. The Cost Accountant will be responsible for delivering essential information pertaining to ongoing and upcoming renovation works and property development projects across Australia. Specifically, focusing on development project Analysis and Accounting, due diligence reporting, cost estimations and final preparation of proposals.

    This key role will also deliver analysis and insights into our tabled opportunities for growth across our brands and businesses.

    What are your responsibilities?

    • Business case development, evaluating proposals and collating RFP information.
    • Due diligence reporting on multiple and concurrently running projects.
    • Prepare business cases for review on these ad hoc projects such as airport expansions and major capex projects such as renovations.
    • Working Project Costs lifecycle from estimation to approval.
    • Monitor and measure project costs against budget independent of project teams
    • Ongoing reporting and analysis, maintaining a dashboard summary for the BIM.
    • Managing suppliers, assisting the PMO with tender processes ensuring dnata's quality checks and SLAs are met at each level, managing submission deadlines.
    • Work closely with Finance team and Facilities team, have weekly check-ins on progress and timelines, discuss any changes to projections or forecasted costs v budget.
    • Assist the PMO and team members with validation of information, regular communication updates and any troubleshooting or flagging of associated risks.
    • Occasional site travel as financial support to our PMO Leaders and to attend meetings as required on behalf of our business.

    What do you need to be successful in securing this role?

    • Ideally CIMA, CPA, CA or related qualifications
    • Proven experience budget handling project capex of between 10M - 20M or greater
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in Cost Analysis and Project Management (aviation experience ideal)
    • Have handled new building or extensive renovation projects an advantage
    • Must have high level of attention to detail and accuracy of information
    • Strong commercial acumen with both revenue building and cost saving mindset
    • Strong communication in both written and verbal, along with presentation skills
    • Advanced Excel and Project management software
    • Proven success in completing projects from start to finish
    • Construction or Commercial Property development background advantageous
