    About the role

    :

    Anglicare is searching for a Shop Manager at our Anglicare Op Shop located in Rouse Hill. In this role you will be leading a team of volunteers, managing all aspects of running our retail store. Develop and implement an effective strategy to operate the store, maximise sales and support Anglicare's vision, mission and values.

    You will develop strong relationships with the local community, churches and other key stakeholders to ensure our Op Shop and the services provided by Anglicare are well known in the community. Upholding our vision and values are key to this role, our Shop Managers ensure holistic care is provided to customers of varying needs.

    As a Shop Manager, you will (not limited to) :

  • Delivery strong leadership, providing induction, supervision, development and training to staff, enabling them to also build strong relationships with customers and community alike
  • Maximise sales and sustainability by maintaining high standards of service and product
  • Maximise the customer experience by delivery high levels of professional customer service
  • Build a safe environment for staff, volunteers and customers
  • Work towards challenging KPIs
  • About You :

    We are looking for a compassionate professional. Not only will you have had experience running a retail store, from an operational standpoint, but you will also have well developed stakeholder management and relationship building skills.

    An important part of this role is building relationships with key stakeholders in the community. This will require highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, a true people person. Some other attributes we are looking for:

  • Demonstrated experience leading a team.
  • Initiative to seek out and develop new relationships with key community members.
  • Experience organising events and liaising with multiple internal and external vendors.
  • Ability to de-escalate tense situations and handle adversity.
  • Current driver's license
  • Intermediate Microsoft office skills
