    ABOUT THE ROLE

    The Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for the effective management, coordination, and data entry of rosters within the organisation. You will be part of a dedicated team of 8, who look after 21 sites in total nationally.

    Specific tasks of this position include:

    Rostering

    • Dedicated agency booking tasks
    • Ensuring that the Centre is fully staffed for the work fortnight
    • Replace any unplanned vacant shifts
    • Reconciling agency invoicing against booking sheets
    • Reconciling agency charges against the rate cards
    • Ensure Kronos entries are correct

    Payroll

    • Clearing daily timekeeping functions and exceptions
    • Ensure payroll deadlines are met
    • Processing fortnightly payroll

    ABOUT YOU

    To be successful in this role, ideally you will have:

    • An appreciation of and the ability and willingness to promote and support the values and ethos of The Salvation Army
    • Demonstrated relevant experience in a similar position
    • Knowledge of the aged care industry
    • Highly developed secretarial, administrative/organisational skills
    • An understanding of and a commitment (or the ability to rapidly acquire) to the Commonwealth Accreditation of aged care facilities.
    • Highly developed time management and work prioritisation skills with an ability to work unsupervised for extended periods of time
    • Excellent communication skills with work colleagues, professional people and general public
    • Ability to work as part of a team and liaise with people at all levels
    • Ability to meet deadlines

    • Well mannered, confident disposition
    • Problem solving skills
    • Customer focused, service oriented approach

    Nice to have:

    • Certificate III in Business Administration
    • Kronos scheduling system Knowledge
    • Previous experience working in an aged care environment structure
    • Previous experience as a Receptionist/Administration background highly desirable.
