YOUR NEW ROLE
As a critical KEY senior member in their winning national Chemical team, (being led by industry –leading partners) you will delight in the challenge+stimulation+ satisfaction of:

• applying your technical expertise+ commercial acumen in advising/creating strategies to protect+ enforce the patent rights of your blue-chip local/international clients;

across a wide range of inventions (eg pharmaceutical/drugs, medicinal, agricultural, electro-chemistry, chemical processes, food, medical devices, treatment methods, animal health) and industries (health/personal care, organic, pharmaceutical, agricultural, medicinal, biotech, industrial chemical, clean energy, food/beverage).

WHO YOU ARE
We are interested in hearing from you if you:

• have a degree or higher qualifications [eg PHD-preferable but not essential] in Chemistry or similar;
• are a registered Australian/NZ/European patent attorney [or are an overseas qualified patent attorney currently nearing re-qualification in Australia/NZ];
• have a minimum4-10+ years' post-qualification experience as a patent attorney [up to SENIOR ASSOCIATE level];
• have solid hands-on experience in patent drafting, prosecution, oppositions, patentability / validity opinions and freedom to operate advice.
• have strong technical +communication/people skills + commercial acumen;
• are committed to furthering your own SUCCESS to the MAX with a 1st-Classemployer of choice ;
• are able/willing to relocate (essential) long-term to SYDNEY, MELBOURNE OR BRISBANE.
