    ABOUT THE ROLE:

    We are looking for someone with experience with Quality Assurance and Quality Control at a senior level. The ideal candidate ambitious and willing to join our small management team as the QA/QC Manager and grow with the company. While Morpheus is currently a small company, our clients are all large Blue Chip companies that expect the highest level of professional management and systems. This means that Morpheus must have the right people to ensure our systems and operations maintain the highest level of quality and integrity. The position will report to the Operations Manager and work very closely with the CEO and COO. The QA/QC Manager will be responsible for all aspects of the company's quality systems as well as providing analysis and advice in respect of developing and maintaining system integrity. Initially, the position will include all hands-on quality assurance and quality control tasks, including personally conducting inspections and audits. As the company grows, the QA/QC Manager will lead a team of quality assurance personnel.

    Key responsibilities include:

    • Developing a quality plan that meets the industry requirements and expectations and implementing the plan.
    • Actively monitor work processes to ensure the required quality inspections, tests, audits and documentation are identified and completed.
    • Ensuring all subcontractors and suppliers have acceptable systems.
    • Managing and conducting the scheduling of inspections and tests to support the production schedule.
    • Assisting in the interpretation of applicable codes and standards and plan with the operations team how to meet future requirements.
    • Training the operations team on the requirements of the quality plan.
    • Taking responsibility for managing all costs associated with inspection and testing.
    • Ensuring all quality issues are properly reported and classified.
    • Actively seeking client feedback on quality performance.

    Qualifications for QA/QC manager

    • Lead auditor experience and relevant qualification.
    • More than 5 years' experience in a similar role preferred.
    • Strong leadership skills having successfully led and managed a team.
    • Experience in performance reporting, analysis and continuous improvement.
    • Excellent problem solving skills.
    • Understanding of legislation and standards and how they are interpreted.
