- Demonstrated high level understanding, design and application of contemporary social policy and community development principles and practices, strategic planning, and delivery
- Strong skills in networking, negotiation, facilitation, and consultation in a political environment

About the position:
Council is seeking a Community Development specialist leader who has experience in the coordination of a team of Community Development Officers who have relevant expertise in their individual areas of focus.
You will have knowledge on contemporary community resilience practices and community capacity building strategies.
A knowledge of disaster management frameworks and experience in incident management would be an advantage.
