    Your responsibilities will include:

    Located in Tindal, NT provide security administration services on the Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS), to ensure compliance and adherence with established security policies, procedures and practices for the customer.

    Day to day duties include:

  • Using a series of automated auditing tools augmented with manual processes to ensure that auditing occurs to guarantee compliance.
  • Firewall monitoring and auditing.
  • Ensuring network security by protecting against unauthorized access, modification or destruction.
  • Security forensics/reporting.
  • Security policy and software validations.
  • About you:

    About you:

  • Some experience in IT with a strong enthusiasm for security.
  • Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline (typically Information Technology)
  • Experience in a customer liaison role Tools & Applications.
  • MS Windows 7/MS Windows 10/MS Windows Server 2012/MS Office 2016.
  • Desirable
  • Experience with Splunk Enterprise Operational Intelligence tools for Auditing.
  • Knowledge of Windows audit policy and ability to manually audit security logs to ensure compliance with security policy.
  • CompTIA Security+.
  • Network fundamentals, specifically IPsec Tunnels, VPN and VLANs.
  • Experience working within a project environment (preferably in the defence industry) – highly desirable.
  • Special Requirements:

    Applicants are required to hold & maintain CoA NV2 security clearance.
