- accounts payable/accounts receivable, bank and general ledger reconciliations, month end/ EOFY reporting, trust accounting/controlled monies, cashflows, PAYG, BAS and GST, credit card transactions/reconciliations, petty cash and trust audits;
- ensuring to corporate/legal compliance eg renewing business names via ASIC, renewing firm's insurance and practising certificates for lawyers with the Law Society etc.
- assisting with recruitment/HR/staff management;
- being the 'go to' contact with IT professionals, building managers and branch offices in Sydney & Qld.

- Have a diploma/certificate/degree in accounting/bookkeeping;
- have minimum 5-20+ years hands-on experience as a bookkeeper/accountant (essential) and some office administration/management experience (preferable);
- have worked for a law firm/legal industry with trust accounting experience [essential];
- have used Affinity or Locus accounting software [preferable not essential] or otherwise are IT/tech savvy;
- have strong numeracy skills+ accuracy+ keen eye for detail;
- are efficient+ deadline/results-driven and a 'do whatever it takes' attitude;
- have proven ability to thrive in a busyfast-paced multi-tasking environment (essential);
- can commit LONG-TERM to a permanent role working in the city based office in Sydney 5 days/week.
