Job Title: CNC Machinist

We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our dynamic Precision Engineering Team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC machine tools with maximum efficiency to produce accurate and quality parts and products for internal and external customers.
• Manufacture parts as requested to specified design drawings and interpret drawings into a working program.
• Ensure the work area and machines are kept clean, orderly, and in good working condition.
• Notify the Manager of any issues that could be detrimental to the business or its staff.
• Perform required tooling changes as needed within your scope of training and experience.
• Ensure equipment is utilized and maintained correctly to maximize efficiency and prolong serviceable life.
• Promote and undertake inter-shift relations to ensure positive team unity.
• Maintain and service machines according to manufacturer's recommendations.
• Ensure maintenance records and documentation are up-to-date using MEX as a reporting tool.
• Effectively communicate with production and maintenance teams to ensure clear understanding.
• Contribute ideas and suggestions towards continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• Appropriate experience or qualifications relevant to the role.
• Ability to ensure excellent attention to detail in a high-pressure environment.
• A team player with a positive nature and can-do attitude.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Driver's License.
• Ability to work unsupervised.
• Experience with Mazatrol Control/Mazak machinery preferred.
• Fusion 360 knowledge highly regarded.
