- Translating requirements into high-quality user stories, including acceptance criteria, ensuring the stories can be tested both functionally and non-functionally and align to the product strategy
- Working with the product manager and delivery lead to prioritise the backlog based on business value, technical dependencies, and other factors.
- Being able to formulate user stories for integration-based features with sufficient technical details
- Supporting the squad members in project activities when necessary, demonstrating flexibility to jump roles to serve the team
- Demonstrated experience as a business analyst in delivering complex initiatives in high-performing teams in an agile development environment
- Demonstrated analysis experience delivering innovative initiatives
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Data-driven but able to make judgement calls when necessary
- Experience in Jira/Confluence for managing boards and project documentation
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and principles
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, or other web service technologies.
- Understanding of mobile app development frameworks and platforms.

What you'll do
This role is for an experienced Business Analyst with a technical background who is well-versed with the latest technology and integration patterns such as APIs, microservices, data models. This is a fast-paced environment that demands a strong "ownership mentality" and a sense of initiative, you will require these, but also have great facilitation skills, be process-driven, and be enthusiastic to assist in optimising the team's way of working and delivering life-cycle.
What you'll bring
Coming from a digital background, you will demonstrate business acumen, excellent communication and technical know-how that will help drive success. You're as comfortable facilitating sessions with stakeholders as you are with breaking down bugs and getting into the technical nitty-gritty with the team. You can narrow in on the data and the detail and widen to see the bigger picture. Most importantly, you should have a strategy and skills to take an idea from inception to delivery.
