- Deliver and maintain ICT security policies, plans and procedures
- Deliver, maintain and present ICT security training for staff members.
- Provide technical security advice in the planning and implementation of new hardware and software solutions
- Develop system authorisation documentation
- Maintain currency and expertise in security related technologies, standards, trends, issues and solutions
- Assist in security investigations and review system audit trails and logs
- Apply innovative secure solutions to customer-centric ICT projects
- Assist in developing and improving disaster recovery and business continuity plans for ICT systems managed by the Agency
- Develop security risk assessments and system security plans
- Maintain and monitor network security systems
- Demonstrated experience configuring and deploying technology solutions
- Strong technical knowledge of Active Directory
- Good understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and standards (ISM, NIST, ISO 27001, etc.)
- Experience working with Azure/AWS cloud, particularly from a security perspective
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable

Our Federal Government client has a requirement for an experienced IT Security Advisor to provide general advice on security architecture, Essential Eight strategies, cloud security settings, Information Security Manual (ISM) controls and cyber technology.
