    Reporting to the Packaging Services Division (PSD) Maintenance Team Manager in Eastern Creek, you will work as part of a team to meet objectives encompass maintaining plant and equipment, in accordance with preventative maintenance schedules. This is a full-time rotating shift role based at the Eastern Creek Factory in a state of the art and highly automated plant to create products that are shipped globally. Immerse yourself in a fast-paced highly motivated team, to meet objectives encompassing maintaining plant and equipment.

    Key responsibilities will include:

    • Maintaining plant & equipment in a safe manner with minimal downtime and waste.
    • Ensure standards are carried in line with safe engineering work practices and legal requirements
    • Assessing and prioritising breakdown service requirements in line with business guidelines
    • Identifying and resolving equipment reliability and improvement opportunities.

    About You

    We are looking for skills & experience which include:

    • Related trade qualification
    • Basic to intermediate computer literacy skills
    • Highly experienced with fault finding and problem-solving skills
    • Previous experience in plastic injection, PET & HDPE preferred but not essential
    • Basic to intermediate understanding on hydraulic and pneumatic circuits
    • Able to work in a fast-paced team environment
    • Capable in carrying out planned and preventative maintenance on equipment
    • Familiarity with Continuous Improvement methodologies together with a positive and energetic mindset will see you succeed in this role.
    • Works well with team environment and on their own
    • Experience in the FMCG industry is strongly preferred but not essential
    • Are strongly focussed on Workplace Health and Safety
    • Can ensure housekeeping and hygiene requirements are met
