    An excitingand rareopportunityatRoyal CaninAustralia and New Zealand (basedin Melbourne)due to an internal transition.
    We are currently seeking a talented individual to join us as a Corporate Affairs Director.

    Reporting to the General Managerand an active voice on the Leadership Team,youwilllead a passionate team responsible for drivinginnovation and recommendation of our products and services through effective internal and external communications, public affairs,sustainability,scientific thought leadership/educationand community partnerships, while embedding regulatory compliance for Royal Canin ANZ.

    Asan experiencedCorporate Affairs professionaland people leader, you will bringexpertisein strategic communications,sustainability and community engagement, broaderstakeholder engagement and building mutual partnerships.

    What would be your keyresponsibilities?Manage regulatory issues and crisis management, Consumer PR and community partnerships, scientific communications and education, consumer care and Public & Scientific Affairs stakeholder engagement.

    Drive Royal Canin's internal communications, public relations, scientific communications, scientific affairs, and corporate social responsibility activities in alignment with our Royal Canin purpose, overall business strategy, demand priorities and relevant policies.

    Identifylocal market and government issues important to the company and pet industry and manage public and industry association relationships to maximise influencing capabilities in coordination with the Mars network.

    Leadership of Corporate Affairs Function (Australia & New Zealand), managinga team of14Associates(ScientificServicesVeterinarians,Chief Health Officer,Consumer Care,Sustainability & Partnerships,Communications andRegulatory & PublicAffairs).Develop a strong relationship with internal and external Veterinarians, Scientific Advisors, andkey opinion leaders.

    What are we lookingfor?A leader with extensive experiencefroma similar SeniorCorporate Affairsrole withsoundexpertisemanaginginternal and external communications, and issues management.
    Experience from Human Health,Science/PharmaceuticalorVeterinarybackgroundis preferredPeople leadership experiencewith proven ability to lead, develop and guide direct and indirect reports.
    Tertiary Qualifications in Communications, Journalism, Public relations or similar.
