- Reporting to the QHSE Manager, you will provide necessary support to ensure that the project environmental plans and procedures are properly implemented on site during operations.
- The position will initially be a 12-month contract with options to extend. The role will be based at the client's head office in West Perth with easy access to public transport.
- Provide guidelines for the management of the environmental aspects;
- Analyze the activities environmental impact, both for project and execution phase;
- Identify and develop proper mitigation measures and methods to be implemented for reduction of the environmental impact;
- Provide support for the development and improvement of the environmental management system and performances of the project;
- Update and spread the laws knowledge and the authorizing processes related to the environment;
- Environmental compliance and record checks, and associated reporting
- Environmental Audits and Inspections.
- Degree in Environmental Science / Management or related discipline;
- Experience in dealing with relevant regulators (NOPSEMA/DMIRS);
- Performing Environmental assessments;
- Strong attention to detail;
- Environment Oil and Gas Industry standards / expectations.
- Excellent verbal and written communications (in English), with very strong attention to
- detail and the ability to structure thoughts deliberately, logically, and directly;
- High level of initiative, self-drive and enthusiasm to succeed and progress;
- Very good organizational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines, manage.
- expectations and coordinate priorities;
- Strategic thinking mindset;
- Willing to learn.
