    A Business Development Manager Opportunity in a Dynamic Environment

    We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the Leisure, Wholesale and Groups markets. You will also be responsible for growing existing business and establishing and pursuing all leads to drive revenue into the hotel.

    About the Role:
    - Support sales initiatives such as site inspections, client engagement, familiarizations and other events outlined in the sales and marketing action plan to drive revenue across the hotel.
    - Develop strong working relationships with clients, suppliers and guests to help drive revenue through repeat business.
    - Create tailored proposals to meet client needs and exceed expectations.
    - Monitor existing business and input ideas into sales strategy meetings to maximize business.
    - Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of services.
    - Monitor competitors' activities and assist in sharing marketing intelligence across all markets within Australia.

    What We Need:
    - Hotel sales experience within Australia with a proven track record of success driving repeat business.
    - Good understanding of hotel systems and revenue management principles.
    - Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    - A focus on excellence and an eye for detail.
    - Strong problem-solving skills and accountability for own decisions and actions.
    - Ability to work autonomously, be proactive and take accountability for workload.
    - Tertiary studies in Sales, Marketing, or Business Administration (preferred).
