    Accountant

    Are you an experienced Accountant looking to make a meaningful impact? Do you thrive in a dynamic environment where your skills contribute directly to positive change? At United Way Southern Vancouver Island (UWSVI) we are dedicated to transforming lives in the community. As the accountant, you will ensure UWSVI's financial health and sustainability. The accountant has primary responsibility for recording and overseeing the financial transactions of UWSVI, including maintenance of accounts receivable and accounts payable, payroll processing, benefit management, and financial reporting. The accountant reports to and works closely with the Director of Finance and Operations to provide accurate and timely information confidentially to the management team. The accountant has excellent written and oral communication skills and a keen interest in UWSVl's mission.
