    North Hill Veterinary Clinic is in Armidale, the heart of the beautiful New England Tablelands region of NSW.     About the position:

    Exciting opportunity for a vet looking to move up into a clinic leadership role.

    Enjoy managing a great team, with an interesting and varied caseload of work, in a thriving veterinary clinic.

    As Clinical Lead you will work closely with your Clinic Coordinator and the Business Team in the day-to-day running of the clinic, and you will be a member of the management team responsible for the professional management of all clinical operations. Clinical operations include managing, training and supervising veterinary associates, graduates and nursing staff, as well as being hands-on in the delivery of veterinary services to patients and clients according to Apiam's high standards of care.

    • Varied and interesting caseload – we really do see it all here The practice is approximately 70% small animal, including companion animals, pocket pets, birds and wildlife and 30% large animal consisting of cattle, horses, sheep, goats, alpacas and even the occasional camel.
    • We are currently a 6-vet team with a strong support staff.
    • Brand new clinic in the works for later in the year

    About you:

    We are looking for a vet who is ready for the next stage in their career and is ready to lead and mentor their team with the assistance of an industry leading organisation.

    • We are looking for a small animal or mixed animal veterinarian with at least 5 years' experience.
    • You will have strong surgery and routine GP medicine skills
    • You have shown you are capable and willing to lead a team and have demonstrated mentoring experience.
    • You are willing to lead by example and have a positive 'can-do' approach
