Our Client,Churchill Services of Australia Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Diesel mechanic to join its Kilburn operations. this position is an integral part of our dedicated mechanical team.

This is a fulltime position for a highly motivated person to help further grow our expanding service team.

The successful applicant must have:

Relevant Trade Qualifications Experience in fleet maintenance, repairs and servicing Heavy vehicle experience in Rigids, Agitator trucks, Volvo, Isuzu and Hino. Ability to take directive, show initiative and work autonomously. Minimum 2 years post apprenticeship experience on heavy vehicles and mobile plant. Heavy Vehicle license would be advantageous but not essential.

Your duties will include:

Performing servicing, maintenance and repairs on various types of equipment. Fault diagnosis and trouble-shooting of mechanical and electrical systems. Ensuring compliance with National Standards and Accreditation Schemes.

The applicant will need to be medically fit and prepared to undertake a pre-employment medical with drug and alcohol screening. This position is available for an immediate start. Some overtime will be required. The applicant will need to be available for occasional field work or breakdowns both inside and outside of normal working hours.

Base Rate of pay on offer is between $36.00 to $42.00 per hour (depending on experience), plus penalties and superannuation Applications are to be made through the website
