    Job Description:

        We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team in a public accounting firm. The role offers flexibility with full-time or part-time options, working four days a week.

        As a Bookkeeper, you will provide end-to-end support to our clients, including payroll and other accounting services.

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Prepare monthly reports, reconcile transactions between entities, and complete month-end journals and bank reconciliations.
    • Execute payroll, including superannuation, and direct communication with clients.
    • Manage accounts payable and receivable, and uphold ATO compliance, including BAS and IAS returns.
    • Lodge payroll tax and maintain accurate records.

    Requirements:

    • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper in public practice.
    • Institute of Certified Bookkeepers membership.
    • Bookkeeping related qualification preferred.
    • Experience with MYOB and Xero, as well as payroll execution.
    • Good understanding of IT and strong Microsoft Office skills.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and a good team player.
