    Toll Group is seeking a proactive Advisor - HSE Equipment to drive the proactive implementation and continual improvement of Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) and compliance culture, strategy, plan and performance across the unit.

    This role will have a remit across four Workshops in Western Australia, as well as one in Adelaide, and is responsible for providing practical HSE and compliance advice and support to our people leaders. You will ensure the day to day compliance requirements of all matters pertaining to Equipment BU Operations, including vehicle standards, maintenance.

    Based in Kewdale, this role will report to the National HSE Manager, and undertake frequent travel to all nominated Toll workshops.

    Some responsibilities will include:

    Engaging in the "Safety Obsessed" cultural change program, including provision of support and initiatives to line management to achieve the goal of a safety obsessed workplace.

    Ensure that all operations are conducted in accordance with Toll HSE and compliance standards and procedures to ensure the safety to our people, the community and the environment.

    Develop and review Site HSE and compliance Plans, in partnership with key business stakeholders ensuring alignment with Business Unit HSE Plan and assist the business in achieving all objectives and targets.

    Participate in management review and management of change activities, as required.

    Support business leaders in coordinating HSE and compliance activities at the site level.

    To be successful in this role, you will need:

    Cert IV or Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety.

    5+ years practical experience in a HSE role with a focus on either workshop or mechanical environment.

    Excellent written and communication skills, including the ability to liaise effectively with fellow team members, management, stakeholders and customers.

    Competent computing skills, advanced Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
