    Description

    The Manager, Project Management Office (PMO) is responsible for leading the ISD Project Management Office (PMO) team. This includes development and management of the DEECA ICT Project Delivery Framework, providing specialist advice and guidance on project governance, project management, and benefits management and a move towards agile delivery.

    The role provides direction to ensure the PMO supports the successful delivery of ICT programs and projects through effective governance, informed decision making, ICT portfolio reporting and a focus on business benefits. Other duties include;

    • developing and maintaining strong relationships within the Department
    • promoting and contributing to the department's understanding of the value of ICT project governance and management.

    Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications

    • Formal qualifications or industry certifications in project and / or program management are desirable.
    • Industry certifications in PMO are desirable, e.g. The Portfolio, Programme and Project Offices (P3O) Certification from AXELOS.
    • 5+ years ICT project delivery experience is desirable.
    • Demonstrated experience in successfully delivering Agile projects within a Prince2 environment is desirable.
    • 8+ years in an ICT PMO or enterprise PMO experience will be highly regarded.

    This is an ongoing position. The work location for this position is flexible within Victoria with hybrid work arrangements available.
