Position Overview:
We are seeking experienced Azure Platform Engineers to join a dynamic team in a federal government department.

The successful candidates will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing infrastructure solutions in Azure to support data and analytics workloads.

This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects in a collaborative and agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement infrastructure solutions in Azure to support data and analytics workloads.
Utilize infrastructure as code (Ia C) methodologies, particularly Terraform, for deployment and management of cloud-hosted infrastructure.
Ensure adherence to cloud security best practices, including identity and access management, networking, and policy enforcement.
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams in an Agile environment to deliver project outcomes effectively and efficiently.

Essential Criteria:

Demonstrated experience in architecting and deploying infrastructure, platform, and software as a service solutions in cloud environments, with a focus on Azure.

Proven track record of utilising Ia C methodologies, particularly Terraform, for the deployment and management of cloud infrastructure.

Strong understanding of cloud security principles and experience implementing security features such as identity and access management, networking, and policy enforcement.

Previous involvement in data engineering, storage, or data science projects, demonstrating a solid understanding of data and analytics workflows.

Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver project outcomes on time and within scope.
