    Job Description

    Responsible for assisting with the design and delivery of Melbourne Royal campaign and media assets which includes but is not limited to designing and creating brand assets and artwork for the 2024 Melbourne Royal Show. This position will work alongside our Creative and Production Services Manager to produce creative that supports existing Melbourne Royal brand guidelines.

    The key objective of this position is to design and deliver creative assets for key campaigns across print, signage, events and various digital platforms, including:

    • Visual concept development and design of campaign creative, general marketing materials (print, collateral, merchandise, and event signage) and media assets
    • Uphold Melbourne Royal's visual brand integrity and consistently apply brand style guidelines across all channels including social, web and print
    • Work alongside the Membership and Marketing team to create and implement high-quality graphic material for both online and offline advertising
    • Manage the supply of finished artwork files and coordinating with suppliers

    Desired Skills and Experience

    We are seeking candidates with a minimum of 4-5 years' design experience in an agency or production environment or as an independent freelance designer. Must have a proven ability in interpreting briefs and translating ideas into designs, extensive experience with Adobe Creative Suite (advanced Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop skills) and experience with fast-edit software (eg: Canva), Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or other professional video editing software.
    It is imperative that candidates have the ability to prioritise multiple deadlines and projects, have an exceptional eye for detail and commitment to accuracy and sound knowledge of print and digital production standards and specifications.
