    Our Federal Government client has a requirement for an Information/Data Manager to support a new project office. The project office will support the acquisition of knowledge by defining, developing, and testing robotics and autonomous systems (RAS) technology; develop relationships with industry and academic partners; and share knowledge gained with the Agency's innovation ecosystem.

    As the Information Manager you will be accountable for coordinating, organising, and cataloguing the knowledge generated through experimentation activities.

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Establish a knowledge management repository within the Agency's information environment, to control, protect, and optimise the value of technical data, lessons learned; This may include identifying and implementing new software or systems to achieve these outcomes.
    • Coordinate documents such as trial reports and operating concept documents, using and collating input from the Project Office functions, and wider stakeholders.
    • Leverage and integrate with the current knowledge management systems to promote knowledge product access within the Agency's new Project Office.
    • Develop and implement strategies, plans, policies, and practices to capture all the sources of available knowledge generated by the Project Office activities and apply the knowledge created.
    • Develop a culture and pattern of knowledge-sharing by developing internal processes and encouraging a collaborative workflow between Project Office functions other innovation partners.
    • Work with the Project Office's communications team to share knowledge products within the Agency and to external stakeholders.
    • Build and sustain productive working relationships with key stakeholder groups to maximise the utility and accessibility of outputs/knowledge products.

    Essential Criteria include but are not limited to:

    • Knowledge Management experience or relevant training.
    • Experience developing and implementing plans, policies, and practices that control, protect and optimise the value of data assets in a large and complex organisation such as a government department, company or similar.
    • Experience managing external and internal stakeholders as part of a project office.
    • Demonstrated ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team.
    • Analytical thinking to bring logical order to the information they work with that enables other members of an organisation to find information easily.
    • Excellent computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office, Share Point, and familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM)s and collaboration platforms.
