About the role:

Your main duties will be project based & working with the requirements needed to successfully deliver the expected works. Works may include basic admin, WHSE reporting & project supervision. You will be required to report to the Project Supervisor when required & deliver all task to successfully complete the scheduled works.

Your day may include:

• Read electrical, architectural and mechanical diagrams or drawings.
• Plan appropriate layouts for electrical wires and wiring systems.
• Identify the right electrical equipment for a particular job.
• Install lighting, power outlets, conduits, cable trays, ladder racks, circuit breakers and emergency lighting.
• Carry out fault-finding.
• Test, repair and maintain electrical equipment.
• Connect electrical equipment and appliances.
• Install motors and switchboards.
• Install automated electrical controls.
• Install voice and data cabling.
• Complete electrical projects by supervising installations; resolving design issues.
• liaise with Stakeholders as required.
• Travel when required.

About you:

• Current electrical licence (Australian).
• White card.
• Working at heights card (or the ability to obtain).
• Ability to work unsupervised as well as part of a team.
• Experience in Industrial / Commercial Environment is an advantage.
• Thorough knowledge of Safety Procedures / WHS Requirements.
• Excellent time management & problem solving abilities.
• Must be able to travel if required.
• Drivers licence.
