- Conduct thorough assessments of technology risks and controls, identifying areas for improvement and implementing effective mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain policies, procedures, and standards related to technology risk management.
- Perform regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Provide guidance and support to stakeholders on risk-related matters, offering insights and recommendations to mitigate potential threats.
- Stay updated on emerging trends and developments in technology risk management, incorporating new knowledge and techniques into our practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Risk Management, or related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in technology & risk management, preferably with a background in development/dev ops or architecture
- Individuals who are looking to transition into a second line of defence position, where you will contribute your expertise to strengthen their risk management framework.
- Possessing the relevant certification: (CISA/CISSP/CRISC) are an added advantage
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders (predominately Line 1 business partners)
- Strong understanding of development or architecture principles, with the ability to assess technology risks within complex systems.
- Knowledge of industry standards (eg ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR etc)
