Our client is a globally renowned private foundation owned by a family office with strong financial backing and a clear objective of making a positive impact on the world.

Being based in Singapore, you will be reporting to the Chief Operating Officer and working closely with other senior leaders in the private foundation.

This individual will be acting as the on-the-ground focal point in Asia with primary responsibilities of driving partnerships with key external stakeholders in related domains - ranging from universities, R&D labs, related start-ups in the private sector, non-profits, and government.

Your ultimate objective is to create an ecosystem by making the best use of available resources to drive development in the environmental and climate space across Asia Pacific.

The successful candidate should have strong domain expertise in environmental science (ideally with a Ph D degree) and proven experience in building relationships/partnerships with universities, governments, and non-profit sectors - while their own background can be from one of those fields.

Being passionate about topics like climate change, environmental protection, and biodiversity with a real determination to make a difference is important.

You should be a hands-on person who is comfortable working independently in a small but growing office setting, while also being able to engage with key stakeholders at eye level.
