    As an essential element of ACCIONA's services in Australia and New Zealand, Geotech excels as a premier provider of specialised design and ground engineering solutions, playing a critical role in delivering diverse infrastructure projects.

    The Opportunity

    We currently have a unique opportunity to join the Geotech business in NSW as a Project Manager due to several successful new projects. In this key leadership role, you will plan, carry out and oversee all engineering activities to ensure that all Project deliverables as per the Program are met on time, and within budget.

    As the go to Project Manager, you will communicate the scope of works to the engineering and supervision teams and ensure the teams work effectively to develop a plan to carry out works as required. The Project Manager will provide guidance to Senior Engineers and Supervision to ensure that the engineering plan takes WHS, Quality, Environmental & Sustainability challenges into consideration, and a "Best for Project" outcome is reached.

    This role will require regular regional travel to various sites across regional NSW.

    Key responsibilities:

    Develop Project Delivery Strategy including project objectives and client drivers.

    Responsible for People/Staff performance and development.

    Develop, monitor program and resource plan for project delivery.

    Take responsibility for Safety Performance of the project.

    Establish the project construction programs and ensure project team, including subcontractors and suppliers, understand and are committed to achieving the program.

    Understand commercial drivers of projects.

    Engage Clients and Stakeholders understanding their drivers and objectives for the project and manage accordingly.

    Required Skills and Competencies

    Proven experience managing and self-performing ground engineering projects of up to $50 million.

    Possession of Engineering Degree/relevant tertiary qualifications

    Demonstrated leadership skills, including developing individuals and teams creating a high performing team culture and ensuring regulatory compliance.

    Proven experience in a Self-Performing works environment
