    A global leader in enterprise technology solutions is currently seeking for an experienced Linux & DevOps Engineer to be part of their high performing cloud services team based at Melbourne CBD office location.

    You will be responsible for a large system implementation, deployment and upgrade project, while ensuring the seamless operations and optimisation of the cloud Infrastructure and hosted products for their government clients.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Operations and maintenance of an automated DevOps Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) environment.
    • Implement scalable, resilient and secure solutions in AWS cloud.
    • Manage a highly-secure multi-OS Linux and Windows Server environment
    • Deployment, configuration & verification of key mission critical applications and infrastructure (VM provisioning, Ansible scripting and troubleshooting)
    • Create automation scripts and contribute to automated deployment processes, enhancing efficiency and reliability.
    • Provide troubleshooting and technical expertise to identify issues affecting service delivery, and recommend fixes for application issues, covering batch jobs, data stores, application functionality, management layers, and load balancing.
    • Schedule, plan, and implement new systems to meet evolving business needs.
    • Participating in on-call rotation duties.

    Key Requirements:

    • 5+ years of experience implementing or supporting technical infrastructure on the cloud at a corporate level or business application operations background.
    • Experience with Linux servers administration.
    • Experience with delivering software applications on AWS cloud.
    • Experience with Ansible, Terraform, CI/CD tools, and GIT.
    • Experience with implementing and managing Kubernetes environments.
    • Proficiency in scripting and automation tools.
    • Knowledge of Directory services.
    • Experience with orchestration to operate a cloud solution.
    • Strong analytical research and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Must hold a high level government security clearance.

    Contract Rate: $1,000-$1,100 per Day (incl. super).
