    Werribee Open Range Zoo is seeking an experienced Visitor Services Manager to be a part of the Senior Leadership at Werribee Open Range Zoo, at an exciting time in its history as it readies to expand to include Elephants.

    • Full Time Ongoing position
    • Band 6 starting at $107,824 per annum + Super
    • Lead the admissions, retail and commercial teams

    Zoos Victoria operates four landmark zoos, Healesville Sanctuary, Kyabram Fauna Park, Melbourne Zoo and Werribee Open Range Zoo.     Werribee Zoo is seeking an experienced Visitor Services Manager to be part of an incredibly exciting time in the Zoos history. The Zoo is expanding, adding a world leading Elephant Habitat, and the Elephants from Melbourne Zoo will relocate later this year. Werribee expects a huge increase in visitation because of this landmark addition.

    This role is responsible for leading the operations of the admissions and retail departments and the administration and development of commercial products. This includes responsibility for overall retail experience, visitor ticketing, enquiries, functions and event needs, and develop a team to ensure an exemplary standard of customer service.

    The Visitor Services Manager will bring a passion for the role of zoos in providing world leading wildlife experience, education, conservation and research in a changing and complex environment.

    The successful candidate will have proven communication and interpersonal skills in developing successful, resilient, and powerful teams with cohesive staff relationships, and the ability to integrate high quality Visitor Services into existing and proposed programs.
