- Work with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications for the decommissioning project.
- Analyse the present Active Directory environment, including user accounts, group policies, permissions, and dependencies.
- Develop detailed documentation on present setup, potential improvements, and migration plans.
- Identify potential hazards and challenges in the decommissioning process, and devise mitigation methods.
- Serve as a link between technical teams and business stakeholders, delivering regular project updates and resolving any concerns or issues.
- Work with IT teams to create migration plans for moving data and configurations from the old to the new system.
- Coordinate testing efforts to ensure that the new environment meets business needs and works properly.
- Provide training and support to end-users and IT staff to facilitate a smooth transition to the new system.
- Conduct post-implementation reviews to evaluate the success of the decommissioning project and identify areas for improvement.
- Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst or similar role, preferably in IT infrastructure projects related to Active Directory.
- Strong understanding of Citrix, Active Directory concepts, including domains, forests, trusts, group policies, and security principles.
- Experience with Active Directory migration and decommissioning projects is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and propose innovative solutions.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant certifications such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or PMI-PBA (Professional in Business Analysis) are a plus.
