- Oversee and manage all aspects of the financial reporting process, including monthly, quarterly, and annual closing procedures.
- Lead the preparation of financial statements, reports, and presentations for management, board of directors, and external stakeholders, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of fund performance and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Review Tax calculations for the various funds.
- Develop and implement strategies for budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management, considering the unique aspects of REIT operations and fund structures.
- Partner with other departments across the organization to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making, including capital allocation and investment strategies.
- Prepare and deliver board reports & other tasks for exec team
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Fund Accounting & Control experience required
- Big 4 Real Estate experience looked upon favourably
- CA or CPA Qualified
