The RoleThis dynamic position offers a fast-paced environment, diverse responsibilities, and ample opportunities for growth.
As a seasoned communications professional, you'll lead and foster strong client connections.
You will manage IFM Investors' corporate/deal communications globally.
You will work with the Executive team and external agencies to steward the firm's reputation and public profile globally.
Your Background and Experience
Relevant tertiary qualifications with a marketing/communication / political science focus equivalent.
Deep experience working in a communications consultancy, in-house communications, press office or fast-paced media environment.
Ideally within a global investment management environment, superannuation or equivalent.
Proven track record on managing complex media and reputation management issues, including acute crisis management.
Solid understanding of fund management Industry ideally with experience in infrastructure or real estate investing
Understanding of the political and stakeholder landscape including key political actors, structures, legislative and policy development processes.
Experience as a political staffer is not essential but will be highly regarded.

A genuine interest in and understanding of economics / financial markets / investment management / superannuation and IFM Investors commercial processes and business drivers.

Ability to lead and manage media agencies and vendors including providing senior strategic communications counsel and issues management guidance, as well as oversee strategy development.

Strong relationship management skills and experience in senior management influencing and interaction are essential for success in this role.
