    The Organisation:

As the Principal Management Accountant, you will be working in a complex area with large volumes of data while providing critical support around financial performance, budget management and funding to senior stakeholders.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Data analysis and reporting around capital projects.
    • Provide high-level strategic advice to support critical areas and senior managers around management reporting, governance and proposals.
    • Support with the development of management accountabilities to ensure compliance with the department's financial management framework.
    • Undertake detailed financial analysis work. This will require working through huge volumes of data while working to understand and interpret the data to better support the department.
    • Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to support budget planning and resource allocation.

    Qualifications & Experience:

    • CPA or CA
    • Experience working in a similar position across capital projects.
    • Extensive experience in management accounting and financial reporting demonstrated in a leadership role.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, policies, and compliance requirements.
    • Proficiency in financial software and tools, including proficiency in Excel, Power Bi and financial modelling.
