    • 12 Months + 2 x 12 month extensions
    • You can be based in Canberra, Sydney or Brisbane
    • Citizenship Mandatory – Current clearance preferred

    As the Project Co-ordinator, you will work alongside a Senior Technical Project Manager/ Project Lead / within the front door to support, co-ordinate and enable project activities in the end to end delivery of large systems delivery projects.

    You will be responsible for the following:

    • Co-ordination of activities in detailed, integrated project plans to plan and track project delivery through design, build, testing and implementation and transition to operational teams.
    • Co-ordination and management of project control registers for dependencies, risks and issues, change control, actions etc.
    • Liaising and co-ordination of stakeholders internally and externally in a multi-vendor environment.
    • Working within the Agencies governance and project delivery process for large scale projects, following standards, frameworks, policies and guidelines in both waterfall and agile methodologies.

    The key skills and experience we are looking for include:

    • Technical understanding in the delivery of large mission critical systems.
    • Front door / Project Management and governance process establishment and business improvement.
    • Working in multi cloud environments for example Azure, OCI, AWS etc.
    • Project co-ordination experience across software & systems development, technical products, services & solutions, infrastructure and operations.
    • Working in a complex, technical, multi-vendor environment with experience of coordinating project activities across all parties and tracking and reporting on multiple dependencies, risks and issues, project changes, actions etc.
    • Understanding and experience in supporting projects following the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
    • Strong governance focus with understanding & application of project management framework and competencies including scope, time, cost, quality, HR, communications, cost, risk, procurement and integration.
    • Strong stakeholder management, communication and co-ordination.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
