    Welcome to our Town Planner role at Mecone in Brisbane.

    We are a leading national planning firm committed to creating better urban environments.

    As an urban planning specialist, you will provide advice and services in strategic planning, statutory planning, integrated land use, transport planning, and urban analytics.

    You will enjoy interesting and challenging work across Queensland and Northern NSW on projects of all scale, with mentored support from knowledgeable Directors.

    About the Role

    1. Provide urban planning services in one or more key areas:
    2. Statutory planning and development advisory
    3. Project Management

    Your Key Responsibilities

    • Employ thorough understanding of statutory, strategic, and land use planning principles to provide expert advice to clients and project teams.
    • Prepare high-quality deliverables including planning reports and advice correspondence.
    • Represent Mecone at client workshops/meetings and provide advice on planning matters.
    • Maintain direct contact with government agency staff to progress planning applications.

    About You

    • Tertiary town planning qualification required.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills essential.
    • 2-4 years experience with ambition to become a senior planner and grow as a future leader.
    • QLD experience essential - NSW experience an added bonus.
    • Able to run projects independently, manage clients, invoice, and project manage work.
