The Opportunity

Our client is a Tech business who recently listed on the ASX. The business distributes an innovative product with cutting-edge technology that has driven strong growth. The company has ambitious plans for international revenue streams and new markets. This is an excellent opportunity for a CA-qualified mover or someone with industry experience to secure a varied and interesting role.

The Challenge

Reporting to the CFO, key responsibilities will include:

• Manage month-end and year-end processes for the Group, including reconciliations, journal entries, financial statement review and analysis.
• Work with the broader team in managing the budgeting and forecasting process.
• Liaise and manage the audit process, external financial reporting and ASX compliance.
• Monthly, half-yearly and annual performance analysis.
• Own and manage tax, including transfer pricing and other compliance with external accountants, including, GST, BAS, Payroll Tax and FBT.
• Prepare sales and inventory reporting for internal stakeholders

The Expertise

Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:

• You have recently completed a CA/CPA qualification and either commenced your career in a chartered firm within Audit/Business Services division, or at a large, complex, industry based role in a Junior Accountant position.
• You are a self starter with excellent analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data and communicate insights to non-financial stakeholders
• Experience with Netsuite is preferred but not essential
• Proactive and adaptable approach
