    The Opportunity:

    This newly created role will see you contribute to the Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) practices across the National business.

    The primary purpose of the Risk & Compliance Coordinator role is to ensure that all WHS related tasks are understood at warehouse management and operator level and relevant documentation is administered and adequate records obtained and stored appropriately.

    The Risk & Compliance Coordinator role ensures the service provided consistently meets both external and internal requirements in compliance with industry quality standards, current regulatory standards, and contractual customer requirements through the oversight and management of the quality and safety systems.

    Travel will be required periodically across our national Warehouse network.

    What you will do:

    The key aspects of the role include;

    • Ensuring documentation and implementation of Corporate directed WHS initiatives, policies and procedures are carried out effectively.
    • Liaising with corporate WHS management on further/future improvement initiatives.
    • Collaborating with internal customers and consistently promoting excellence in safety.
    • Ensure that compliance to policy regarding WHS is being met and maintained, and that stakeholders are aware of their responsibilities.
    • Conducting internal auditing and the development of improvement plans as a result of audit outcomes.
    • Supporting oversight of all WHS related tasks nationally, working with site management and their teams on the administration of WHS obligations and driving compliance
    • Responsible for the oversight, reporting and monitoring of company's quality systems, including investigations, corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) and training programs at an operational level.
    • Responsible for the improvement of existing systems and the development of new quality systems.
    • Assisting all departments in the generation of quality system documentation; such as, SOPs, Work instructions / deviation / investigation reports, equipment/system qualification protocols and reports, and change controls etc.
    • Providing strategic analysis to minimize risk of non-compliance.
    • Building rapport with internal and external business stakeholders.
    • Validation, qualification and calibration for facilities, equipment and systems (as required).
    • Ensuring we adhere to agreed Third party Quality Technical agreements (as required).
    • Assisting with maintaining the appropriate level of System validation.
