- Design and implement engaging communications campaigns to achieve strategic business goals. This also includes supporting documents - speaking notes, presentations, leader briefing packs and reports.
- Responsible for managing and actively contributing to corporate communication channels by creating and editing weekly updates, managing digital channels and writing/coordinating leader communications (monthly updates and huddles).
- Organise, with the support of the team, a range of events including CEO Town Halls, leadership forums, product launches and activations – demonstrating both cost leadership and creativity.
- Oversee and provide advice on monthly insights dashboard as part of the monthly report. Including analytics, metrics and insights across various communication activities.
- Oversee content creation and increase engagement with corporate LinkedIn page and manage content on the corporate website.
- Create and edit specialised communications as required including crisis, external partner and operational communications..
- Proactively work with other divisions and sites to enhance their stakeholder management and corporate communication outcomes, and proactively identify opportunities and mitigate risks and issues.
- As part of the team, support and manage the Auto & General internal brand, governance, policies and guidelines to ensure effective and consistent corporate communications both internal and external to the business.
- Take all reasonable directions from leaders to comply with the organisation's workplace health & safety (WHS) protocols. WHS is everyone's responsibility.
- Tertiary qualifications in communications, public relations, business, media or human resources management with a minimum five years' experience.
- Experience working in a high impact and dynamic corporate communications team on both strategic and operational internal and external communications.
- High level of skill in providing advice to deliver outcomes within a high performance with high integrity environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential. Ability to write for various genres, audiences and publication types is a must.
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to work autonomously, prioritise and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail and respect for confidentiality.
- Extensive knowledge of contemporary frameworks and methodologies to develop effective internal change communication strategies that facilitate a strong internal brand.
- Extensive knowledge and experience managing social media governance.
- Exceptional and proven stakeholder engagement and partnering skills at all levels of the business.
- Highly developed digital skills including Google, Slack, Intranet tools, Adobe suite and Campaign Monitor.
