    Randstad is pleased to once again be partnering with our client who are a large, highly established organisation based in Brisbane's inner suburbs. Due to exponential growth off the back of multiple acquisitions they are seeking an experienced Payroll Analyst to join their dedicated payroll project team on a 12 month fixed-term contract basis.

    About the role:

    Reporting into the Payroll Transformation Manager this role will see you work as part of a specialist payroll project team who are working towards the integration of multiple systems. Your key duties will include:

    • Plan, implement, and support project activities to meet schedule requirements
    • Develop industrial instrument build requirements and coordinate with external vendors for system configuration
    • Create test cases analysing payroll functions for readiness for production environment transition
    • Conduct payroll user acceptance testing, including scenario, subset, and parallel pay runs
    • Review test results, report progress, anomalies, risks, and issues for the project
    • Identify potential training/change management needs
    • Contribute to compliance obligations through data analysis and advice to all levels of the business
    • Maintain strong knowledge of relevant legislation for client and business-focused outcomes
    • Improve payroll and rostering systems through active involvement and stay updated with best practices
    • Provide support and input for staff rostering training

    About you:

    You are an experienced Senior Payroll Officer with a high level of attention to detail. In addition, you have:

    • 5+ years experience in payroll
    • Proven expertise in payroll system configuration and testing within complex environments
    • Demonstrated experience in similar roles across diverse and large projects/programs
    • Full and unlimited Australian working rights
