JOB DESCRIPTION

LGM Industries is a maintenance contractor specialising in the provision of Structural, Mechanical and Piping (SMP) services to the resource and industrial sectors in Western Australia. Our team consists of experienced tradespeople and supervisors, supported by project coordinators, project engineers and an experienced leadership team. LGM Industries is seeking a suitably qualified individual to join the tendering team. As an SMP Estimator you will play a crucial role in driving the success of our tendering department.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Crafting comprehensive tender documentation and quotations, adhering to company standards and client specifications.
• Analysing SMP designs, drawings, plans and models to accurately assess project scope.
• Coordinating site visits and meetings with clients.
• Reviewing and interpreting tender documentation at all levels.
• Conduct post tender negotiations.

About you:

• Trade or engineering background preferred.
• Minimum five (5) years' experience servicing the industrial and/or resource sector.
• Proficiency in the use of MS Office software, especially MS Excel and MS Project.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional demeanour.
• High level of technical knowledge and meticulous attention to detail.
• Knowledge or understanding of Project Management principles.
• Highly self-motivated with the initiative to work efficiently without supervision.
