    Optus Enterprise Sales are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join the Enterprise Sales team, based in Brisbane Queensland. The Account Manager role is responsible for developing and securing new business for Optus Enterprise. You will be responsible for working within a territory of larger businesses with telecommunications spend.

    You will develop high level customer relationships and deliver complex product and service solutions, demonstrating a high level of experience dealing with Senior Executives across large organisations. Success will be evident in the measurement of billed revenue, profitability of revenue, signing of new business orders and customer satisfaction results.

    Your day in the life of an Account Manager at Optus

    • Maintain high sales activity levels to generate an effective opportunity pipeline.
    • Develop sound customer relationships, covering all relevant contacts within the customer account.
    • Run the involvement of all other Optus groups responsible for supporting the customer.
    • Ensure the Optus focus products are effectively represented to all prospects
    • Demonstrate a knowledge and understanding of your complete territory, your specific customers and the opportunities you are working on
    • Provide clear and positive communication to all relevant Optus stakeholders to ensure that the customers needs are met. Maintain positive relationships

    Your skills to pay the bills

    • Strong experience in a corporate sales role, preferably within business to business (B2B) sales
    • Consultative selling style and confidence selling technical products and complex business solutions
    • .A high level of general business acumen with the ability to communicate optimally to the C-Level and strong verbal, written, presentation and listening skills
    • Experience in the development of account and opportunity plans and internal business cases.
    • Ability to effectively negotiate complex sales at senior levels.
