    The Performance Audit Services Group (PASG) provides Parliament with assurance about the quality of public resource management and assists the public sector by identifying and promoting better administrative and management practices.

    As an APS 5 Performance Analyst in PASG (which includes the Major Projects Report team), your role will be to:

    • undertake research, evidence collection, data analysis and report writing with a view to forming findings and recommendations;
    • evaluate government programs and administration in accordance with an approved plan and supervisor's directions;
    • promote teamwork and a positive and productive team culture;
    • help formulate audit work plans to achieve audit objectives and impact;
    • research policy and legislative frameworks, past audits, parliamentary discussions on relevant matters, and other issues as relevant to the context of the audit;
    • use data searching tools to identify audit evidence and sound judgement to assess its value;
    • prepare working papers, documentation and reports to the required quality standard, written in a clear, concise, evidenced and factual manner; and
    • present your findings and evidence in audit workshops with the Auditor-General and other audit executives.

    • attention to detail and critical reasoning skills.
