About the Role
An exciting opportunity exists for a Clinical Lead to join SECASA's Intake and Brief Intervention Team (IBIT) in this newly created leadership position. Reporting to the Manager, Clinical Services and working closely with other Clinical Leads, you will play a key role in strengthening clinical practice and supporting the delivery of high-quality, trauma-informed care to victim-survivors of sexual assault and family violence.
This role blends advanced clinical practice with operational leadership. You will deliver evidence-based intake, assessment and brief therapeutic interventions, coordinate crisis responses within a multidisciplinary team, and ensure service delivery is safe, responsive and underpinned by robust risk assessment processes.
As part of the IBIT clinical leadership team, you will support Grade 1 and 2 Counsellor Advocates through supervision, consultation and reflective practice, contribute to quality improvement initiatives and clinical innovation, and assist in achieving service targets aligned with departmental agreements.
This role works across SECASA sites, participates in the Intake and After-Hours Roster, and is open to Social Work and Psychology disciplines.
About Us

Our multidisciplinary services are delivered across multiple locations including Dandenong, Cranbourne, Frankston, McCrae, Hastings, Pakenham and East Bentleigh, with a dedicated Crisis Care Unit based at Monash Medical Centre, Clayton. SECASA is committed to helping people of all gender identities, ethnicities, races, sexual orientations, religions, ages and physical abilities. This includes trans, gender diverse and non-binary people of all gender identities and expressions as well as cisgender women and men.
