- Respond to customer and stakeholder requests in a professional manner and within the requirement timeframes.
- Investigate and enforce compliance in relation to heavy vehicle parking, unattended vehicles, illegal rubbish dumping, the Companion Animals Act, the Local Orders policy and Tree Preservation Orders.
- Enforce policies such as use of A-Frames, outdoor dining permits and unauthorised trailer advertising.
- Willingness to handle and impound animals where required.
- Monitor building sites for breaches such as afterhours operation, noise complaints and sediment controls.
- Respond to pollution incidents and issue orders and/or fines as necessary.
- Current Class C driver's license.
- Certificate IV in Regulatory Compliance or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Ranger in a local government.
- Working knowledge of Local Government legislation including the Local Government Act,
- Environmental Planning and Assessment Act, Companion Animals Act, Impounding Act, Road Rules and other relevant legislation.
- SEINS enforcement training.
