    Due to the growth within our Mental Health unit we have exciting opportunities for experienced Mental Health RN's or those wanting to grow their mental health experience to join Northpark Private Hospital as we expand our offering early in 2024.

We are expanding of our established Mental health wards by 22 beds including a 10 bed older persons unit. This expansion is also seeing a much-needed growth of support areas for Mental health including group spaces, meeting rooms, interview spaces, a gymnasium and patient support areas.

    We have a range of work types and shifts available which allows a great level of flexibility for you. If you are open to Full time, part time or casual work and have a rotating roster with a need for those who are willing to work on nightshift supporting the new older person unit.

    The successful applicant will have high level interpersonal skills, demonstrated experience in mental health and be motivated to continue in their own professional growth and service development through the unique opportunities this role will offer. Experience in Mental Health field is preferred, but not essential.

    • Current Registration with AHPRA
    • Working with Children check (if relevant)
    • Acute Nursing Experience (Mental Health Preferred)
    • Commitment to Quality Patient Care
    • Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
    • Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills
    • Works well independently and within a team
    • Basic computer skills

    If you are successful in the role, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant registered nursing experience against the current Healthscope Victoria Nurses & Midwives' Enterprise Agreement , a salary ranging from $ $46.22 per hour.
