    Job Title: Office Manager / HR Officer

    Location: Central Brisbane, Australia

    Job Type: Full-time

    Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 + Superannuation

    About us

    Construction-Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Office Manager / HR Officer for a quality commercial/residential builder based in central Brisbane, who specialises in commercial/ residential building projects across multi-residential, aged care, and social housing sectors.

    Responsibilities

    As an Office Manager/HR Officer, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing office operations and managing human resources functions within a dynamic construction environment. Collaborate closely with project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to contribute to the efficiency and success of our projects.

    • Oversee day-to-day office operations, ensuring efficiency and a positive work environment.
    • Manage HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, performance reviews, and employee relations.
    • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in compliance with legal requirements.
    • Coordinate administrative tasks, such as office supplies, equipment, and facilities maintenance.
    • Support payroll processing and maintain accurate employee records.
    • Facilitate effective communication within the team and with external stakeholders.
    • Assist in organising company events and employee engagement initiatives.

    Qualifications

    • 3 years of work experience as an Office Manager and HR Officer working for a commercial/residential builder.
    • Strong understanding of HR principles, regulations, and best practices.
    • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
    • Relevant qualifications in HR or a related field.
