Credit Analyst - Waverley Council - AltX Group

Description

The Credit Analyst will support the credit function for AltX Group's offerings, reporting to the Credit Manager. This role ensures that credit submissions are accurately compiled and loan documents are prepared.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and assess loan applications
• Undertake due diligence in accordance with AltX's credit policies and procedures
• Ensure all relevant financial and legal documents have been supplied
• Analyse and validate supporting documents, including reviewing financials and tax returns
• Conduct and interpret searches (company, guarantors, title)
• Prepare credit submissions and present recommendations to the Credit Committee
• Manage the pipeline of incoming loan submissions
• Prepare loan instructions and liaise with solicitors

• You've demonstrated excellent knowledge of AltX Group products
• You've shown a solution-oriented approach and effective stakeholder engagement
• Your credit papers are well-written and error-free

Requirements

• Experience in banking, non-bank, and finance industries, specifically within a credit role
• Working knowledge of the banking industry, Australian housing market, and regulatory environment
• Experience in credit assessments of long-term product offerings
• Experience with PAYG and Self-Employed applications
• Hold Delegated Lending Authority (DLA)
• Strong numeracy and analytical skills
• Ability to write clearly and concisely
• Customer-centric and solutions-focused
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software
• Excellent multi-tasking, time management, and communication skills

Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per annum
