Description

We are seeking for an experienced Security Architect who will to assist in developing capabilities to counter offshore cyber criminals to achieve the goal of making Australia the safest place to connect online by increasing discovery and detection aperture for cyber intelligence.

Responsibilities:

Determine security requirements by evaluating business strategies and leading threat risk assessment activities; research information security standards; conduct system security and vulnerability analyses and risk assessments.
Review existing system security measures, recommend and implement enhancements.
Develop, deliver and update System Accreditation Plan (SAP), Security Risk Management Plan (SRMP) to ensure Capability solution architecture/design(s) are able to sufficiently mitigate the identified threats.
Analyse, design, develop, deliver and maintain the security perspective of a Cyber Security Capability.
Liaise with certification and accreditation authorities, business stakeholders and solution architects to drive a solution/design to an accreditation outcome.
Review internal/externally developed security engineering artefacts to ensure that all security requirements are addressed

Essential Criteria:

Demonstrated knowledge and experience over a wide range of Cyber Security fields.
Experienced in the effectiveness of security requirements.
Demonstrated knowledge of cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
Experienced in performing system security reviews and identifying threats and risks resulting in recommending enhancements.

Desirable Criteria:

Determine security requirements by evaluating business strategies and leading threat and risk assessment activities; research information security standards; conduct system security and vulnerability analyses and risk assessments.
Review existing system security measures, recommend and implement enhancements.
Develop, deliver and update System Accreditation Plan (SAP), Security Risk Management Plan (SRMP) and other relevant documents to ensure Capability solution architecture/design(s) are able to sufficiently mitigate the identified threats.
Advise Program Design Authority on system security threats, risks and mitigations.

Location: ACT

Contract terms: 12 Months

Security Requirements: Candidates MUST be Australian Citizens and hold a minimum NV1 Security Clearance. Candidates will need to be willing to undergo pre-employment checks which may include, ID and work rights, security clearance verification and any other client requested checks.
